EQUIVALENT STRAIN IMPARTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve at least one of problems encountered on realizing HPS processing for a sheet-like material with a large area exceeding the area of the counter faces of top and bottom dies that clamp a workpiece.SOLUTION: An equivalent strain imparting system comprises first and second dies that clamp a sheet-like material between counter faces, a drive device that pressurizes the counter face of the first die and the counter face of the second die in a direction of approaches to each other, a sliding device that relatively slides the first die and the second die in a longitudinal direction, and a transportation device that transports the sheet-like material in a width direction of the counter faces, where the sheet-like material is clamped under pressurization between the first and second dies in a condition that the width is wider than the width of the counter face to squeeze out of at least one of the counter faces in the width direction, and where the first and second dies have high frictional faces formed along the longitudinal direction and low frictional faces formed along both sides in the width direction of the counter faces by sandwiching the high frictional faces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】被処理物を挟持する上下金型の対向面の面積を超える大面積のシート状材料に対するＨＰＳ加工を実現する上で直面する課題の少なくとも１つを解決する。【解決手段】シート状材料を対向面の間に挟持する第１金型及び第２金型と、第１金型の対向面と第２金型の対向面とを互いに近づける方向に加圧する駆動装置と、第１金型と第２金型とを対向面の長さ方向に相対スライドさせるスライド装置と、シート状材料を対向面の幅方向に搬送する搬送装置と、を備え、シート状材料は、その幅が対向面の幅よりも広く、対向面の幅方向の少なくとも一方からはみ出した状態で第１金型と第２金型との間に加圧挟持され、第１金型と第２金型は、対向面の互いに対向する部位に、長さ方向に沿って形成された高摩擦面と、高摩擦面を挟んで対向面の幅方向両側に沿って形成された低摩擦面と、を有する相当ひずみ付与装置。【選択図】図１
