Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyalkylene oxide that has a low degree of unsaturation, and also has a markedly low viscosity even with a high molecular weight to show excellent handling ability.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a polyalkylene oxide in which a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) obtained by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) with polystyrene as a standard substance is 1.029 or less, a degree of unsaturation is 0.010 meq/g or less, and a number average molecular weight is 5000 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】低不飽和度でかつ高分子量でも顕著に粘度が低く、ハンドリング性に優れるポリアルキレンオキシドを提供する。【解決手段】ポリスチレンを標準物質としてゲルパーミエッションクロマトグラフィー（ＧＰＣ）法により求めた分子量分布（Ｍｗ／Ｍｎ）が１．０２９以下、不飽和度が０．０１０ｍｅｑ／ｇ以下、及び数平均分子量が５０００以上であるポリアルキレンオキシド。【選択図】なし
