Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of an original plate capable of producing easily a pattern roll having a convex microstructure having a height of 10 μm or more, and a width of about several μm.SOLUTION: In a production method of an original plate 1, a metal film 9 is provided on the surface of a substrate 7, a photoresist layer 17 is provided on the surface of the metal film 9, the photoresist layer 17 is exposed and developed, a convex microstructure 11 is formed by using the metal film 9 as a base, and the photoresist remaining without being removed after development is removed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】高さが１０μｍ以上であって幅が数μｍ程度の凸型微細構造体を有するパターンロールを容易に製造することができる原版の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】基材７の表面に金属膜９を設け、金属膜９の表面にフォトレジスト層１７を設け、フォトレジスト層１７を露光し現像し、金属膜９を下地にして凸型微細構造体１１を形成し、現像した後に除去されずに残っているフォトレジストを除去する原版１の製造方法である。【選択図】図１
