INFECTION PREVENTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infection prevention method for preventing, by a simple method, infection of virus or the like via common toilets and toilet bowls of hospital or the like used by many people.SOLUTION: Sheet-like chlorine dioxide generation sources 4 for generating gaseous chlorine dioxide are provided on any one or more of lower surfaces of toilet bowl lids 3, lower surfaces of toilet seats 2, and the insides of openings of the toilet seats. The chlorine dioxide is generated by the chlorine dioxide generation sources 4, so that germs, virus, and the like inside the toilet bowls are killed or inactivated by the chlorine dioxide, thereby preventing pathogen infection via the toilet bowls.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】多数の人に利用される共同便所、病院等の便器を経由する、ウィルス等の感染を簡易な方法で防止する感染防止方法を提供する。【解決手段】便器の蓋３の下面、便座２の下面、便座開口部の内面のいずれか１以上に、気体状の二酸化塩素を発生するシート状の二酸化塩素発生源４を設け、二酸化塩素発生源４より二酸化塩素を発生させ、二酸化塩素により便器の内部の細菌、ウィルス等を滅殺または不活性化して、便器経由の病原体感染を防止する。【選択図】図２
