METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MONITORING SPORT BALL MOTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which exercising individuals can visualize their motion and provide individuals with quick, accurate and insightful information.SOLUTION: A method for monitoring a ball used for an exercise includes the steps of: detecting movement of a ball 108 at a first time point, by using a sensor module 102 coupled to the ball; determining that the movement of the ball corresponds to predetermined activation movement; entering an active state of the sensor module in response to determination that the movement of the ball corresponds to the predetermined activation movement; and detecting movement of the ball at a second time point, by using the sensor module in the active state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】運動する個人が自分の運動を可視化し、素早く正確で洞察に満ちた情報を個人に提供可能な方法の提供。【解決手段】運動に用いるボールをモニタする方法は、ボールに接続されたセンサモジュール１０２を用いて、第１の時点でボール１０８の動きを検出することと、ボールの動きが所定の起動の動きに対応すると判断することと、ボールの動きが所定の起動の動きに対応するという判断に応じてセンサモジュールの起動状態に入ることと、起動状態のセンサモジュールを用いて、第２の時点で前記ボールの動きを検出することとを含む。【選択図】図２
