Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position estimation system capable of performing accurate position estimation at a low cost when estimating a position using communication between beacons and a portable terminal.SOLUTION: When estimating: respective distances between a plurality of beacons 10 with arrangement information thereof preliminarily registered and a portable terminal 20 from a state of wireless communication between the plurality of beacons 10 and the portable terminal 20; or a position of the portable terminal 20 on the basis of information on the estimated distances and the preliminarily registered arrangement information of respective beacons 10, a position estimation system corrects the estimated distances or the estimated position depending on characteristics of the beacons 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】ビーコンと携帯端末との通信を用いて位置を推定するにあたって、安価なコストで、高精度の位置推定を行うことが可能な位置推定システムを提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】配置情報が予め登録された複数のビーコン１０と、携帯端末２０との間で、無線通信を行い、この通信状態から、該複数のビーコン１０と、携帯端末２０との間の距離をそれぞれ推定し、この複数の推定距離の情報及び事前登録された各ビーコン１０の配置情報に基づいて、携帯端末２０の位置を推定するにあたり、距離推定の際、或いは位置推定の際に、ビーコン１０の特性に応じた補正を行う。【選択図】図５
