PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time necessary for cooling of merchandise placed on a merchandise placement shelf.SOLUTION: A show case includes: a box-shaped case body 10 which is divided into a storage chamber 11 and a machine chamber 12, and in which the storage chamber 11 is at least visible through a front surface 13; a door body 60 for opening/closing an opening 15a formed at a rear surface 15 of the case body 10; and a plurality of stages of merchandise placement shelves 16 provided along the vertical direction in the storage chamber 11. It also includes: a circulation fan 43 for circulating air inside the storage chamber 11 between the machine chamber 12; a cooler 41 provided in the machine chamber 12, and for cooling the air circulated by the circulation fan 43; and a back surface duct 62 disposed on the front surface of the door body 60, and for introducing the air delivered from the machine chamber 12 by the circulation fan 43 from an introduction port 621, and blowing it out of a blowout port 622. The merchandise placement shelf 16 has a shelf restriction part 19b provided in such a manner that on left and right both side parts, height level of an upper end part becomes equal to or higher than the height level of merchandise 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】商品載置棚に載置された商品の冷却に要する時間の短縮化を図ること。【解決手段】内部が収納室１１と機械室１２とに区画され、収納室１１が少なくとも前面１３を通じて視認可能な箱状のケース本体１０と、ケース本体１０の後面１５に形成された開口１５ａを開閉するための扉体６０と、収納室１１に上下方向に沿って複数段設けられた商品載置棚１６とを備えたショーケースにおいて、収納室１１の内部の空気を機械室１２との間で循環させる循環ファン４３と、機械室１２に配設され、循環ファン４３により循環させられる空気を冷却する冷却器４１と、扉体６０の前面に配設され、循環ファン４３により機械室１２から送出された空気を導入口６２１より導入して吹出口６２２より吹き出させる背面ダクト６２を備え、商品載置棚１６は、左右両側部において上端部の高さレベルが商品２３の高さレベル以上となる態様で設けられた棚規制部１９ｂを備えている。【選択図】図１
