PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter unit capable of freely adjusting pleat gaps in a pleat shape and minimizing a pressure loss.SOLUTION: An air filter unit 1 comprises an air filter medium 30 pleat-shaped having a plurality of ridge-folding parts 30a and a plurality of trough-folding parts 30b, a plurality of ridge-side rodlike members 25 extending to be along each of the plurality of ridge-folding parts 30a, and a plurality of trough-side rodlike members 26 extending to be along each of the plurality of trough-folding parts 30b, where the plurality of ridge-side rodlike members 25 make force act on the plurality of ridge-folding parts 30a so as to keep the plurality of ridge-folding parts 30a away from the plurality of trough-folding parts 30b, and where the plurality of trough-side rodlike members 26 make force act on the plurality of trough-folding parts 30b so as to keep the plurality of trough-folding parts 30b away from the plurality of ridge-folding parts 30a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】プリーツ形状におけるプリーツ間隔を自在に調節でき、圧力損失を小さく抑えることが可能なエアフィルタユニットを提供する。【解決手段】複数の山折り部分３０ａと複数の谷折り部分３０ｂを有しておりプリーツ状であるエアフィルタ濾材３０と、複数の山折り部分３０ａそれぞれに沿うように延びた複数の山側棒状部材２５と、複数の谷折り部分３０ｂそれぞれに沿うように延びた複数の谷側棒状部材２６と、を備えたエアフィルタユニット１であって、複数の山側棒状部材２５は、複数の山折り部分３０ａを複数の谷折り部分３０ｂから遠ざけるように複数の山折り部分３０ａに力を作用させており、複数の谷側棒状部材２６は、複数の谷折り部分３０ｂを複数の山折り部分３０ａから遠ざけるように複数の谷折り部分３０ｂに力を作用させている。【選択図】図２
