ROUTE PREDICTION APPARATUS AND ROUTE PREDICTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy in route prediction.SOLUTION: A route prediction apparatus for predicting a route of a first vehicle, on the basis of a current position of the first vehicle includes: storage means of generating travel route information, which is information associated with a route where each vehicle has traveled, on the basis of information collected from a plurality of vehicles including the first vehicle, to be stored; position information acquisition means of acquiring a first position which is a current position of the first vehicle; and route prediction means of predicting a route of the first vehicle, by use of at least one of first route information representing a route of the first vehicle and second route information representing a route of a second vehicle which is a vehicle other than the first vehicle, out of the travel route information stored in the storage means.
