Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchange unit and an adsorption type refrigerator capable of being miniaturized and reduced in weight, and reducing costs.SOLUTION: A heat exchange unit 1 includes a housing portion 3 composed of a metallic thin plate 4 and provided with a spacial portion 5 inside, a heat medium 9 accommodated in a lower spacial portion 5a defined by vertically dividing the spacial portion into two, an adsorbent 11 accommodated in an upper-side upper spacial portion 5b, a first path 15 extending along the substantially whole face of a lower face of the housing portion so that any of cold raw water and cooling water selectively passes therethrough, and a second path 19 extending along the substantially whole face of an upper face of the housing portion so that any of warm water for heating the adsorbent and cooling water for cooling the adsorbent selectively passes therethrough. The lower spacial portion and the upper spacial portion extend in a longitudinal direction, and their heights hu and hd in a vertical direction are shorter than a length La in a longitudinal direction and a length Lb in a lateral direction of the corresponding lower spacial portion and upper spacial portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
