Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an anti-rust function in a wheel bearing device.SOLUTION: A wheel bearing device 10 includes: an outer ring 11; a hub shaft 12 which has a flange portion 56 for attaching a wheel on a vehicle outer side; a rolling body 13; a seal 15 which is attached on the vehicle outer side of the outer ring 11, and prevents the entry of foreign substances from the outside between the hub shaft 12 side and the seal 15; and a cover member 60 attached on the vehicle outer side of the outer ring 11. An outer peripheral surface of the outer ring 11 has a non-plating surface portion 21 provided at an end portion 25 on the vehicle outer side, and a plating surface portion 22 continuing to the non-plating surface portion 21. The cover member 60 has an inside cylinder portion 61 externally fitted with and attached to the non-plating surface portion 21, and an annular body portion 62 which is provided continuously to the inside cylinder portion 61, and opposes to the flange portion 56 while keeping a clearance δ in an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】車輪用軸受装置において、防錆機能を高める。【解決手段】車輪用軸受装置10は、外輪11と、車両アウタ側に車輪取り付け用のフランジ部56を有するハブ軸12と、転動体13と、外輪11の車両アウタ側に取り付けられハブ軸12側との間において外部からの異物の浸入を防ぐシール15と、外輪11の車両アウタ側に取り付けられているカバー部材60とを備えている。外輪11の外周面は、車両アウタ側の端部25に設けられている非メッキ面部21と、この非メッキ面部21と連続しているメッキ面部22とを有している。カバー部材60は、非メッキ面部21に外嵌して取り付けられている内側円筒部61と、この内側円筒部61と連続して設けられフランジ部56との間に軸方向の隙間δ1を有して対向している円環状の本体部62とを有している。【選択図】 図2 |
