Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can control to optimize a secondary transfer voltage in printing on a continuous medium even when the value of resistance of the secondary transfer roller is changed.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus comprising: transfer means that includes a conductive roller member having a conductive elastic body provided on the outer periphery of a shaft and transfers developer images formed on image carriers to a recording medium on the basis of a transfer voltage applied thereto; voltage application means that applies the transfer voltage to the transfer means; voltage control means that controls the transfer voltage to be applied to the transfer means by the voltage application means; and temperature measuring means that measures the temperature of the shaft of the conductive roller member. The voltage control means controls the transfer voltage to be applied to the transfer means on the basis of the temperature of the shaft measured by the temperature measuring means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】連続媒体の印刷において、2次転写ローラの抵抗値が変化した場合であっても、2次転写電圧を最適に制御することが可能な画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】シャフト外周に導電性弾性体が設けられた導電性ローラ部材を有し、印加された転写電圧に基づき像担持体上に形成された現像剤像を記録媒体に転写する転写手段と、前記転写手段に前記転写電圧を印加する電圧印加手段と、前記電圧印加手段が前記転写手段に印加する前記転写電圧を制御する電圧制御手段と、前記導電性ローラ部材のシャフトの温度を測定する温度測定手段とを備え、前記電圧制御手段は、前記温度測定手段により測定された前記シャフトの温度に基づいて、前記転写手段に印加する前記転写電圧を制御することを特徴とする画像形成装置。【選択図】 図1 |
