Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body reinforcement device that can be attached to various vehicles and various attachment portions with a simple and inexpensive configuration without deteriorating the external appearance.SOLUTION: One end part of a rod member 20 is accommodated in a housing 10 connected to one bracket BR1, and the other end part thereof is connected to the other bracket. An energizing mechanism 30 which applies an energizing force against a force for expanding and contracting an axial distance between both brackets and constitutes a rigidity adjustment mechanism is interposed between one end part of the rod member 20 and the housing 10. Furthermore, a friction mechanism 40 for pressing in a direction orthogonal to the axis of the rod member 20 is accommodated in the housing 10. The friction mechanism comprises an annular spring member 41 which has a plurality of projections formed evenly over the entire circumference and is formed so that the side constituting apexes of the projections becomes an outer peripheral surface, and in which the outer peripheral surface energizes an inside surface of the housing in a pressing direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】簡単且つ安価な構成で、外観を損なうことなく、種々の車両や種々の取付け箇所に付設し得る車体補強装置を提供する。【解決手段】一方のブラケットBR1に連結されるハウジング10内にロッド部材20の一端部が収容され、その他端部が他方のブラケットに連結される。ロッド部材20の一端部とハウジング10との間に、両ブラケット間の軸方向距離を拡大及び縮小する力に抗して付勢力を付与し剛性調整機構を構成する付勢機構30が介装されている。更に、ロッド部材20の軸に対し直交する方向に押圧する摩擦機構40がハウジング10内に収容されている。摩擦機構は、全周に亘って均等に形成された複数の突出部を有し、突出部の頂部を構成する側が外周面となるように形成され、外周面がハウジングの内側面を押圧する方向に付勢する環状ばね部材41を備える。【選択図】図2
