PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical care device and a therapeutic tool for medical care capable of preventing a therapeutic tool for medical care which has not been subjected to sterilization processing, from being used by determining whether or not the therapeutic tool for medical care has been subjected to sterilization processing.SOLUTION: A medical care device comprises a handpiece 30 which is subjected to sterilization processing by heating processing, and a medical care appliance body 10. The handpiece 30 comprises: an identification information storage part 52a for storing identification information L; a temperature measurement part 56 for measuring processing temperature of the heating processing; and a therapy detection part 51g for detecting use of the handpiece 30. The medical care appliance body 10 comprises: a handpiece identification determination part 11a for reading out the identification information L for identifying the handpiece 30; a use determination part 11e for determining whether or not the handpiece 30 can be used, based on sterilization processing information based on the processing temperature information H related to the processing temperature, and the use detection information U based on the detection result of the therapy detection part 51g; and a body side notification device 17 for performing a prescribed operation based on the determination result of the use determination part 11e.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】医療用施術具が滅菌処理済か滅菌未処理かを判定して、滅菌未処理の医療用施術具の使用を防止できる医療用診療装置および医療用施術具を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】加熱処理による滅菌処理が行われるハンドピース３０と医療用機器本体１０とで構成され、ハンドピース３０に識別情報Ｌを記憶する識別情報記憶部５２ａと、加熱処理の処理温度を測定する温度計測部５６と、ハンドピース３０の使用を検知する施術検知部５１ｇとが備えられ、医療用機器本体１０に、識別情報Ｌを読み込んでハンドピース３０を識別するハンドピース識別判定部１１ａと、処理温度に関する処理温度情報Ｈに基づく滅菌処理情報および、施術検知部５１ｇの検知結果に基づく使用検知情報Ｕに基づいて、ハンドピース３０の使用の可否を判定する使用判定部１１ｅと、使用判定部１１ｅの判定結果に基づいて所定の動作を行う本体側報知装置１７が備えられた。【選択図】図３
