Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbide powder production method by which a carbide powder having a sufficiently increased content percentage of carbon can be obtained.SOLUTION: A carbide powder production method includes: a forming step of forming a thin layer 104 of a raw material powder; and a carbonizing step of applying an AC voltage to the thin layer 104 formed in the forming step to generate plasma in an atmosphere containing carbon with reduced oxygen so as to carbonize the raw material powder of the thin layer 104. By the method, a carbide powder having an increased content percentage of carbon can be obtained; and for example, hardness of a molded object molded by powder bed melt-binding technology using the above carbide powder can be increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】炭素の含有率を十分に高めた炭化紛体を得ることができる炭化粉体製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】形成工程で原料粉体の薄層104を形成し、炭化工程において、酸素を減少させた炭素を含む雰囲気中で、形成工程により形成された薄層104に交流電圧を印加してプラズマを発生させることにより薄層104の原料粉体を炭化する。これにより、炭素の含有率を高めた炭化紛体を得ることが可能となり、例えばこの炭化紛体を用いて粉末床溶融結合技術で造形した造形物の硬度を高めることが可能となる。【選択図】図1
