EMBOLUS PENETRATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embolus penetration device capable of appropriately moving cutting means to an embolus part or the like in a body cavity in the embolus penetration device for treating the embolus part or the like of the body cavity using the cutting means.SOLUTION: An embolus penetration device 1 includes: a cutting member 4 capable of cutting an embolus part in a body cavity; and a rotation member 3 that has flexibility and an elongated shape, has one end connected with the cutting member 3 and the other end connected with a drive mechanism 6, can rotate the cutting member 4 in response to drive of the drive mechanism 6, where at least one part is inserted into a lumen of a catheter 2, can move with respect to the catheter 2, to both sides, a distal side as one side and a proximal side as the other side, and when moving to the distal side, can make the cutting member 4 project from an end of the distal side of the catheter 2.
