Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an aluminum alloy as an alternative to expensive aluminum-zirconium-scandium alloys that exhibit promising strength and creep resistance at temperatures above 300°C; and a method of producing the same.SOLUTION: An aluminum alloy comprises: 0.0394 to 0.1 at.% of scandium; 0.0198 to 0.1 at.% of zirconium; 0.0038 to 0.05 at.% of erbium; and the balance comprising aluminum and less than detection limits of impurities. Alternatively, an aluminum alloy further comprises 0.033 to 0.1 at.% of silicon. In an aluminum alloy, iron is present as an impurity.SELECTED DRAWING: None
