Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform proper examination, with both eyes opened.SOLUTION: The optometer for examining subject's eyes, includes: a pair of left/right lens units that are disposed respectively on a first optical path as an optical path of a luminous flux of an optotype projected to the subject's right eye and a second optical path as an optical path of a luminous flux of an optotype projected to the subject's left eye, and that change optical characteristics of the luminous flux of the optotypes in the first optical path and the second optical path respectively by at least automatic cross cylinder lenses; drive means for driving the lens units; and control means for controlling the drive of the drive means.
