PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a near-infrared ray shielding cosmetic composition which has an excellent near-infrared ray shielding effect and hardly causes whitening when applied to the skin.SOLUTION: There is provided a near-infrared ray shielding cosmetic composition which comprises the following components (A), (B), (C) and water: (A) titanium oxide having a number average particle diameter of 0.4 μm or more and 10 μm or less, (B) zinc oxide having a number average particle diameter of 0.8 μm or more and 20 μm or less and (C) an oil agent, wherein the total content [(A)+(B)] of component (A) and component (B) is 3.5 mass% or more and 15 mass% or less and the mass ratio [(B)/(A)]of component (B) to component (A) is 4/11 or more and 20/1 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】近赤外線防御効果に優れているとともに、皮膚に塗布された際に白くなりにくい近赤外線防御化粧料組成物を提供する。【解決手段】近赤外線防御化粧料組成物は、次の成分（Ａ）、（Ｂ）、（Ｃ）および水：（Ａ）個数平均粒径０．４μｍ以上１０μｍ以下の酸化チタン（Ｂ）個数平均粒径０．８μｍ以上２０μｍ以下の酸化亜鉛（Ｃ）油剤を含有する近赤外線防御化粧料組成物であって、成分（Ａ）及び成分（Ｂ）の含有量の合計［（Ａ）＋（Ｂ）］が、３．５質量％以上１５質量％以下であり、成分（Ａ）に対する成分（Ｂ）の質量比［（Ｂ）／（Ａ）］が、４／１１以上２０／１以下である。【選択図】なし
