Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of reduced iron, capable of rationally and effectively increasing contained carbon amount of product iron oxide.SOLUTION: The provided method includes a process of contacting iron oxide and reduction gas in a reduction furnace 10 to generate reduced iron, a process of supplying a process gas generated with adjustment of a blast furnace gas of the reduction furnace 10 into a modifier 40 to generate modified gas, a process of supplying the generated modified gas to the reduction furnace 10 as reduction gas and a process of introducing a part of the modified gas to a cooling area 18 in the reduction furnace 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】還元鉄の製造方法であって、製品酸化鉄の含有炭素量を合理的にかつ効率よく増加させることが可能な方法が提供される。【解決手段】提供される方法は、還元炉10内で酸化鉄を還元ガスと接触させて還元鉄を生成する工程と、還元炉10の炉頂ガスを調整して生成されるプロセスガスを改質器40内に供給して改質ガスを生成する工程と、生成された改質ガスを還元ガスとして還元炉10に供給する工程と、還元炉10内の冷却領域18に前記改質ガスの一部を導入する工程と、を含む。【選択図】図1
