Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can impart assist force in consideration of a vehicle environment outside of an electric power steering device while suppressing deterioration in a steering feeling.SOLUTION: The electric power steering device has: a fundamental target current calculating portion that calculates a fundamental target current as a fundamental for a target current which is supplied to an electric motor on the basis of steering torque; and a base steering angle velocity deviation current calculating portion 281 which calculates a base steering angle velocity deviation current Ivb in accordance with a steering angle velocity deviation between target steering angle velocity calculated based on a steering angle detected by a steering angle calculating portion and real steering angle velocity, which further comprises: a steering angle velocity deviation current calculating portion 28 which calculates a steering angle velocity deviation current Iv determined by correcting the base steering angle velocity deviation current Ivb on the basis of air pressure of a tire mounted on a vehicle; and a target current deciding portion which decides the target current on the basis of the fundamental target current and the steering angle velocity deviation current Iv calculated by the steering angle velocity deviation current calculating portion 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
