Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can impart assist force in consideration of a vehicle environment outside of an electric power steering device while suppressing deterioration in a steering feeling.SOLUTION: The electric power steering device has: a fundamental target current calculating portion that calculates a fundamental target current as a fundamental for a target current which is supplied to an electric motor on the basis of steering torque; and a base steering angle velocity deviation current calculating portion 281 which calculates a base steering angle velocity deviation current Ivb in accordance with a steering angle velocity deviation between target steering angle velocity calculated based on a steering angle detected by a steering angle calculating portion and real steering angle velocity, which further comprises: a steering angle velocity deviation current calculating portion 28 which calculates a steering angle velocity deviation current Iv determined by correcting the base steering angle velocity deviation current Ivb on the basis of air pressure of a tire mounted on a vehicle; and a target current deciding portion which decides the target current on the basis of the fundamental target current and the steering angle velocity deviation current Iv calculated by the steering angle velocity deviation current calculating portion 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】操舵フィーリングの低下を抑制しつつ、装置外部の車両環境を考慮したアシスト力を付与することができる技術を提供する。【解決手段】操舵トルクに基づいて電動モータに供給する目標電流の基本となる基本目標電流を算出する基本目標電流算出部と、操舵角算出部が検出した操舵角に基づいて算出した目標操舵角速度と実際の操舵角速度との操舵角速度偏差に応じたベース操舵角速度偏差電流Ivbを算出するベース操舵角速度偏差電流算出部281を有し、車両に備えられたタイヤの空気圧に基づいてベース操舵角速度偏差電流Ivbを補正した操舵角速度偏差電流Ivを算出する操舵角速度偏差電流算出部28と、基本目標電流と操舵角速度偏差電流算出部28が算出した操舵角速度偏差電流Ivとに基づいて目標電流を決定する目標電流決定部と、を備える。【選択図】図6
