PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea beverage that can inhibit an odor like paper and a taste like starch glue possessed by indigestible dextrin while suppressing a caffeine content to a low level, to provide an inhibitor for a paper odor or a starch glue taste of indigestible dextrin and to provide a method for inhibiting a paper odor or a starch glue taste of indigestible dextrin.SOLUTION: The tea beverage has an indigestible dextrin content of at least 5 g/L, a caffeine content of at most 30 mg/L (including 0) and includes an extract of plant leaf and an extract of cereal grain. The cereal grain preferably includes one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of adlay and barley. The plant leaf preferably includes one or more kinds of plant leaves selected from the group consisting of Angelica keiskei, Psidium guajava, persimmon, bamboo grass, Chinese matrimony vine, mugwort, Gynostemma pentaphyllum, mulberry, Eucommia ulmoides, perilla, loquat, barley young leaf, Mesona chinensis, Houttuynia cordata, Plantago asiatica, Gymnema, Rooibos, Apocynum venetum, dandelion, peppermint, mulukhiya, ginkgo, pine needle, lotus and olive.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】カフェインの含有量を低く抑えつつ、難消化性デキストリンの有する紙のような香り及び糊のような味を抑制可能な茶飲料、難消化性デキストリンの紙臭又は糊味の抑制剤、並びに難消化性デキストリンの紙臭又は糊味の抑制方法を提供する。【解決手段】茶飲料は、難消化性デキストリンの含有量が５ｇ／Ｌ以上であり、カフェインの含有量が３０ｍｇ／Ｌ以下（０を含む）であり、植物葉の抽出液と穀物の抽出液とを含む。穀物は、ハトムギ及び大麦からなる群から選択される１種以上を含むことが好ましい。また、植物葉は、明日葉、グァバ、柿、笹、クコ、よもぎ、アマチャヅル、桑、杜仲葉、シソ、びわ、大麦若葉、仙草、ドクダミ、オオバコ、ギムネマ、ルイボス、ラフマ、タンポポ、ペパーミント、モロヘイヤ、イチョウ、松葉、蓮、及びオリーブからなる群から選択される１種以上の植物葉を含むことが好ましい。【選択図】なし
