Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for an electrophotographic device that can maintain low friction on a surface of a surface layer and significantly improve toner chargeability compared with a prior art member.SOLUTION: A member R for an electrophotographic device comprises a surface layer 1. The surface layer 1 contains a matrix polymer and a surface modification agent. The matrix polymer contains a polymer of polyisocyanate and a hydrophobic organic compound containing one or more functional groups reacting with an isocyanate group in polyisocyanate.
