PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for estimating a heart rate not on the basis of physiological data such as electrocardiography, pulsation, or the like that is easily influenced by a mental state but on the basis of information on physical activity that is hardly influenced by the mental state.SOLUTION: A heart rate estimation device includes: an exercise strength estimation unit that takes the sum of past exercise amounts influencing a heart rate at certain time as an exercise strength estimation value, and calculates an exercise strength estimation value at estimation time tby using a target person's exercise amounts in time series and based on the exercise amount of the target person's exercise during a period before the estimation time t; and a heart rate estimation unit that estimates a heart rate at the estimation time tby using the exercise strength estimation value and a heart rate-exercise strength relation model showing relation between exercise strength and heart rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】心理状態の影響を受けやすい心電や脈等の生理学的データではなく、心理状態の影響を受けずらい身体活動の情報に基づき心拍数を推定する技術を提供する。【解決手段】心拍数推定装置は、ある時刻の心拍数に影響を与える過去の運動量の総和を運動強度推定値とし、時系列の対象者の運動量を用いて、推定時刻tkよりも前の期間に対象者が実施した運動の運動量に基づき、推定時刻tkの運動強度推定値を求める運動強度推定部と、運動強度推定値と、運動強度と心拍数との関係を示す心拍-運動強度関係モデルとを用いて、推定時刻tkにおける心拍数を推定する心拍数推定部とを含む。【選択図】図６
