PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric rice cooker capable of performing selective rice cooking according to brands of rice easily and appropriately by comparatively easy control.SOLUTION: An electric rice cooker includes rice cooking means 100 capable of sequentially performing a pre-cooking step, a first cooking step, a second cooking step, a first steaming step, an additional cooking step, and a second steaming step, control means 102 for controlling the cooking means, and brand selection means 101 for selecting a brand of rice to be cooked.
