POLYCARBONATE RESIN, AND OPTICAL FILM COMPRISING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin having excellent properties such as heat resistance, optical properties, mechanical properties, and melting workability, and an optical film comprising the same.SOLUTION: A polycarbonate resin comprises at least a specific structural unit. When the total weight of all structural units and linking groups is 100 wt.%, the polycarbonate resin comprises a structural unit represented by the following formula (1) or (2) by 1 wt.% or more and 18 wt.% or less. In a stretched film prepared from the polycarbonate resin, a value of wavelength dispersion (R450/R550), which is a ratio between phase difference (R450) at a wavelength of 450 nm and phase difference (R550) at a wavelength of 550 nm, is 0.98 or more and 1.01 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】耐熱性、光学特性、機械物性、溶融加工性等の種々の特性に優れたポリカーボネート樹脂、及びそれからなる光学フィルムを提供すること。【解決手段】特定の構造単位を少なくとも含有し、構成する全ての構造単位、及び連結基の重量の合計量を１００重量％とした際に、下記式（１）又は（２）で表される構造単位を１重量％以上、１８重量％以下含有するポリカーボネート樹脂であって、該ポリカーボネート樹脂から作成された延伸フィルムの、波長４５０ｎｍにおける位相差（Ｒ４５０）と波長５５０ｎｍにおける位相差（Ｒ５５０）との比である波長分散（Ｒ４５０／Ｒ５５０）の値が０．９８以上、１．０１以下であるポリカーボネート樹脂。【選択図】なし
