PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of properly inverting a sheet at the time of both-side printing.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes a sheet feeding cassette 31, and a both-side transportation unit 41. The sheet feeding cassette 31 includes a bottom plate 32 where a sheet is placed, and a pair of sheet feeding cassette side plate parts 33a extending to the upper side from left and right both end parts of the bottom plate 32. Both-side transportation unit 41 is arranged to cover a part of an upper side space of the sheet feeding cassette 31, and includes a plate-like guide member 42 for inverting the sheet. The pair of sheet feeding cassette side plate parts 33a includes an abutment guide surface 38 which abuts with a guide member 42 to regulate downward movement of the guide member 42. At an end part on an upper side of the pair of sheet feeding cassette side plate parts 33a, a projection part 37 is provided which adjoins the guide surface 38 and extends to a lower stream side along inserting direction of the sheet feeding cassette 31. At the guide member 42, a receiving recess part 47 which receives the projection part 37 is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 【課題】両面印刷時において適切に用紙の反転を行うことができる画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】画像形成装置は、給紙カセット３１と、両面搬送ユニット４１とを備える。給紙カセット３１は、その上に用紙を載置する底板３２と、底板３２の左右の両端部から上方側に延びる一対の給紙カセット側板部３３ａとを含む。両面搬送ユニット４１は、給紙カセット３１の上方側の空間の一部を覆うようにして配置されており、用紙を反転させるための板状のガイド部材４２を含む。一対の給紙カセット側板部３３ａは、ガイド部材４２と当接してガイド部材４２の下方への移動を規制する当接ガイド面３８を有する。一対の給紙カセット側板部３３ａの上方側の端部には、当接ガイド面３８に隣接して、給紙カセット３１の挿入方向の下流側に向かって延びる突起部３７が設けられている。ガイド部材４２には、突起部３７を受け入れる受け入れ凹部４７が設けられている。【選択図】図９
