ULTRAVIOLET LAMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe ultraviolet lamp that, while maintaining simplification and down-sizing of an apparatus, does not irradiate ultraviolet not only on an operator who sterilizes a glove but also on an operator in the surroundings thereof.SOLUTION: An ultraviolet lamp 10 for sterilizing a surface of a glove by irradiating ultraviolet on a glove G that is worn on a hand and does not transmit the ultraviolet includes a sterilization chamber housing 120 in which an insertion port 130 through which the glove is inserted is opened, an ultraviolet lamp 123 for irradiating the ultraviolet to the sterilization chamber, a sleeve-like guide 140 that is extended from an opening edge of the insertion port to a direction proceeding to the inside of the sterilization chamber, guides a hand into the sterilization chamber from the insertion port, and shields light such that the ultraviolet ray from the ultraviolet lamp does not directly go into eyes of an operator who inserts the glove into the insertion port and on the operator in the surroundings thereof, and translucent ultraviolet shielding boards 160 and 170 that cover a front surface and a side surface above the insertion port such that the ultraviolet ray leaking from the opening edge does not directly go into eyes of an operator and on the operator in the surroundings thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】装置の簡易化・小型化を保持しつつ、手袋の殺菌をしている作業者のみならず、その周囲の作業者に対しても紫外線が照射されることのない安全な紫外線照射装置を提供する。【解決手段】手に装着された状態の紫外線非透過性の手袋Ｇに対し紫外線を照射して当該手袋の表面を殺菌する紫外線照射装置１０。手袋が挿入される挿入口１３０が開口されている殺菌室筐体１２０と、殺菌室に紫外線を照射する紫外線照射ランプ１２３と、挿入口の開口縁から殺菌室内に向かう方向に延出され、挿入口から殺菌室内に手を案内するとともに、紫外線照射部からの紫外線が、挿入口に手袋を挿入する作業者及びその周囲の作業者の目に直接入らないように遮光するスリーブ状のガイド１４０と、開口縁から漏れる紫外線が作業者及びその周囲の作業者の目に入らないように、挿入口の上方の正面及び側面を覆う半透明の紫外線遮光板１６０，１７０とを備える。【選択図】図２
