PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of performing idling stop control adapted to an error of a measuring device such as a fluid pressure sensor without placing a burden on a driver of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 1 comprises: a brake switch state monitoring section 13 which detects a changeover of a brake switch 71; a brake force detection section 14 which detects restraining force of a brake; a brake force storage section 15 which stores the restraining force detected by the brake force detection section 14; an idling stop control section 12 which automatically stops an engine when an automatic stop condition, including a condition that the restraining force detected by the brake force detection section 14 is not less than a first threshold as at least one determination condition, is met; and a threshold variable setting section 16 which variable sets the first threshold on the basis of the restraining force before changeover, which is stored in the brake force storage section 15 in accordance with the changeover detected by the brake switch state monitoring section 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】車両の運転手に負担をかけることなく液圧センサなどの測定装置の誤差に適応したアイドルストップ制御のできる車両の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両の制御装置１は、ブレーキスイッチ７１の状態の切替りを検知するブレーキスイッチ状態監視部１３と、ブレーキの拘束力を検出するブレーキ力検出部１４と、前記ブレーキ力検出部１４により検出される前記拘束力を保存するブレーキ力保存部１５と、前記ブレーキ力検出部１４により検出される前記拘束力が第１閾値以上となることを少なくとも１つの判定条件として含む自動停止条件が成立した場合にエンジンを自動停止することを制御するアイドルストップ制御部１２と、前記ブレーキスイッチ状態監視部１３で検知される前記切替りに応じて、前記ブレーキ力保存部１５に保存される該切替り前の前記拘束力に基づいて前記第１閾値を可変に設定する。【選択図】図２
