DOSAGE FORM AND USE OF DIETHYLSTILBESTROL FOR TREATING PROSTATE CANCER OR BREAST CANCER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pharmaceutical formulations of diethylstilbestrol being an anti-prostate cancer and anti-breast cancer agent avoiding excess cardiovascular side effects such as heart attack, stroke and thrombosis in oral treatment.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical preparation of the invention is an oral formulation in a form of biodegradable, water soluble film, which comprises an effective amount of diethylstilbestrol, an absorption enhancing agent of which HLB is about 8 to about 16 such as sucrose fatty acid esters, and a water soluble matrix containing at least one of polysorbate or sorbitan fatty acid esters as a nonionic surfactant, and a filming agent selected from a polymer mixture of pullulan and polyvinylpyrrolidone and alginate polymer. By inserting the preparation into the mouth of a patient, the drug is selectively taken in through the mucous membrane avoiding the gastrointestinal tract. The pharmaceutical preparation may contain a second absorption enhancer selected from glycerol, ginger oil, cineole and terpenes.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】経口治療での過度の心臓血管系の副作用（心臓麻痺、発作、及び血栓症）を回避した、抗前立腺癌及び抗乳癌剤であるジエチルスチルベストロールの医薬製剤の提供。【解決手段】有効量のジエチルスチルベストロールと、ショ糖脂肪酸エステル等のＨＬＢが約８〜約１６の吸収促進剤とを含み、その上、非イオン性界面活性剤として、ポリソルベート又はソルビタン脂肪酸エステルから１種以上を含む水溶性マトリックスに、更にプルラン及びポリビニルピロリドンとアルギン酸ポリマーとのポリマー混合物から選択されるフィルム形成剤を含む、生分解可能な水溶性フィルムの形態の経口製剤で、患者の口腔内に挿入することにより、粘膜を通じた薬剤の選択的取り込で胃腸管を回避する医薬製剤。グリセロール、ジンジャー油、シネオール及びテレペンから選択される第二の吸収促剤を含む医薬製剤。【選択図】なし
