PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compact piezoelectric vibration piece and piezoelectric vibrator having excellent vibration characteristics.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric vibration piece 10 includes a piezoelectric plate 11 formed of an AT cut crystal substrate, and excitation electrodes 51A, 51B formed, respectively, on the first surface 11A and second surface 11B of the piezoelectric plate 11 facing each other in the thickness direction. In at least the first surface 11A, a top face 21, and a slope 22 surrounding the top face 21 while inclining are formed.
