Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of a clearance gap near an electrode portion in manufacturing a ceramic heater.SOLUTION: In a ceramic heater provided with a base including ceramic, and a resistor which is a resistor buried inside of the base, and including ceramic, and which has two lead portions extended in parallel with each other, a connecting portion connecting end portions respectively at one side of two lead portions, and an electrode portion which is formed integrally with the lead portion of at least one of two lead portions and extended in a direction intersecting an axial direction of the lead portion, and which has a basic end portion connected to the lead portion, a tip end portion exposed to an outer surface of the base, and a connecting portion disposed between the basic end portion and the tip end portion and connecting the basic end portion and the tip end portion. The cross-sectional shape of a virtual surface orthogonal to the extending direction of the electrode portion, of at least one of the basic end portion, the tip end portion and the connecting portion, is the streamline shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
