Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust the speed during a travel at a curve, reducing a load on a driver.SOLUTION: When a vehicle itself 60 is operated automatically so as to travel at a first target speed V1, the vehicle itself 60 is controlled so as to detect a curvature radius Rc of a curve 66 that is located forward in a road 64 and calculate a second target speed V2 in traveling at the curve 66 on the basis of a standard acceleration A0 predetermined as a standard value of lateral acceleration exerted the vehicle itself 60 during the curve travel and the detected curvature radius Rc. The vehicle itself 60 is also controlled so as to travel at the second target speed V2 or slower before passing the curve 66.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】カーブ走行中の速度調整を自動的に行い運転者の負担軽減を図る。【解決手段】第1の目標車速V1で走行するように自車両60を自動走行させる場合、道路64の前方に位置するカーブ66の曲率半径Rcを検出し、カーブの走行中に自車両60に加わる横加速度の標準値として予め定められた標準加速度A0と、検出された曲率半径Rcとに基いて、カーブ66を走行する際の第2の目標車速V2を算出し、カーブ66を通過する前に、自車両60が第2の目標車速V2以下で走行するように自車両60を制御するようにした。【選択図】図2
