Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that is able to reduce space harmonic to a stator magnetomotive force waveform and achieves a coil size reduction and efficiency improvement, while shortening the circumference of a coil end.SOLUTION: On the inside-diameter side of a cylindrical armature iron core 11, coil parts 21, 22 are composed by winding armature coils 16 around teeth 12 through slots 15. Each coil part 21, 22 is formed for a corresponding phase along a circumferential direction of the armature iron core 11, and has at least one coil part disposed across the plurality of teeth 12. If a coil angle pitch of each coil part is C, the number of teeth is T, the number of poles is p, and the number of phases is Q, they are set so as to satisfy the following relation: 360/T[°]≤C≤((2×(T/(Q×p)-1)×360/T)[°] (in which, T, Q, and p are natural numbers of T/(Q×p)>1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】コイルエンド周長を短くしつつ、ステータ起磁力波形に空間高調波を少なくできてコイルの小型化、効率改善を図った回転電機を提供する。【解決手段】円筒状の電機子鉄心11の内径側にスロット15を通して電機子巻線16がティース12に巻回されてコイル部21、22が構成されており、各コイル部21、22は、電機子鉄心11の周方向に沿って各相ごとに形成され、かつ複数のティース12を跨いで配置されるコイル部を少なくとも一つ有しており、コイル部の巻線角度ピッチをC、ティースの数をT、極数をp、相の数をQとすると、360/T[°]≦C≦((2×(T/(Q×p)−1)×360/T)[°](ただしT、Q、pはT/(Q×p)>1となる自然数)の関係を満たすように設定されている。【選択図】図4
