POSITION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction of cost by reducing the number of communication devices to be installed adaptively to a non-contact storage medium as a position management system for managing a position management target by using the non-contact storage medium.SOLUTION: The position management system comprises: a non-contact storage medium included in a position management target as manpower or a material; a non-contact storage medium adaptable communication apparatus provided in a moving vehicle for acquiring an identifier by communicating with the non-contact storage medium; a plurality of master radio communication devices installed for each predetermined position; a slave radio communication device provided in a moving vehicle for transmitting the identifier acquired by the non-contact storage medium adaptable communication device to the master radio communication devices by communicating with the master radio communication devices; and a management device for identifying a position of the position management target corresponding to a received identifier based on a position where the master radio communication device as a transmission destination of the received identifier is installed, when the identifier is received via the master radio communication device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】非接触型記憶媒体を用いて位置管理対象を管理する位置管理システムとして、非接触型記憶媒体に対応する通信装置の設置数を削減してコストダウンが図られるようにする。【解決手段】人員または資機材としての位置管理対象が有する非接触型記憶媒体と、移動車両に設けられ、非接触型記憶媒体と通信を行って識別子を取得する非接触型記憶媒体対応通信装置と、所定の位置ごとに設置される複数の親無線通信装置と、移動車両に設けられ、親無線通信装置と通信を行って、非接触型記憶媒体対応通信装置が取得した識別子を親無線通信装置に送信する子無線通信装置と、親無線通信装置を介して識別子が受信されると、受信された識別子の送信先の親無線通信装置が設置された位置に基づいて、受信された識別子に対応する位置管理対象の位置を特定する管理装置とを備えて位置管理システムを構成する。【選択図】図１
