Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal blower and a ventilator in which resonance hardly occurs in silencing means.SOLUTION: A centrifugal blower 10 having a scroll casing 4 provided with a suction port 7 on one face, and an impeller 3 accommodated in the scroll casing 4, has a projection portion 8 which projects to an axial direction of a driving motor from one face of the scroll casing 4, and forms a silencing wall 30 surrounding the suction port 7 without interruption, and in which a distance between parts opposed to each other through the suction port 7 of the silencing wall 30 is not uniform.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】消音手段内での共鳴が起こりにくい遠心送風機及び換気扇を得ること。【解決手段】一面に吸込口７が設けられたスクロールケーシング４と、スクロールケーシング４に収容された羽根車３とを有する遠心送風機１０であって、スクロールケーシング４の一面から駆動モータの軸方向に突出して、吸込口７を途切れずに囲む消音壁３０を形成し、消音壁３０の吸込口７を挟んで対向する部分同士の距離が均一ではない突出部８を有する。【選択図】図１
