ENGINE OIL COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine oil composition achieving high piston cleanliness required for an engine high in heat load such as a diesel engine while blending a viscosity index improver with an amount sufficient to secure fuel saving property.SOLUTION: There is provided an engine oil composition containing a mineral oil-based oil, a synthetic base oil or a mixed base oil of the mineral oil-based oil and the synthetic base oil as a lubricant base oil, (A) a viscosity index improver of 1.2 mass% or more, (B) an alkali earth metal sulfonate with base value of 60 mgKOH/g or less of 0.02 to 0.10 mass% in terms of an alkali earth metal as a metal-type cleaner and (C) an alkali earth metal-type cleaner with base value of 100 to 300 mgKOH/g of 0.12 mass% or more in terms of the alkali earth metal as the metal-type cleaner.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【解決課題】省燃費性を確保する上で十分な量の粘度指数向上剤を配合しながらも、ディーゼルエンジンをはじめとする熱負荷の高いエンジンに要求される高いピストン清浄性を両立させたエンジン油組成物を提供すること。【解決手段】潤滑油基油として、鉱油系基油、合成系基油又は鉱油系基油と合成系基油の混合基油と、（Ａ）粘度指数向上剤を、１．２質量％以上と、（Ｂ）金属型清浄剤として、塩基価が６０ｍｇＫＯＨ／ｇ以下のアルカリ土類金属スルホネートを、アルカリ土類金属換算で、０．０２〜０．１０質量％と、（Ｃ）金属型清浄剤として、塩基価が１００〜３００ｍｇＫＯＨ／ｇのアルカリ土類金属型清浄剤を、アルカリ土類金属換算で、０．１２質量％以上と、を含有することを特徴とするエンジン油組成物。【選択図】なし
