GARNISH ATTACHING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garnish attaching structure which maintains appearance quality without floating an end portion of a garnish from an outside surface of a design member, and is applied even when a clearance between the garnish and the design member is small.SOLUTION: An attaching structure attaches a garnish 2 to a front bumper 1 while a peripheral edge portion 21a of the garnish 2 abuts on an outside surface of the front bumper 1. On a back surface side of an end portion 21 of the garnish 2, a projecting portion 22 projected out toward the front bumper 1 is provided, and on the front bumper 1, an attaching hole 12 in which the projecting portion 22 is inserted in an attaching state of the garnish 2 is provided. On a back surface side of an end portion 11 of the front bumper 1, a garnish holder 4 is provided. The garnish holder 4 has an abutting portion 41 abutting on the back surface of the front bumper 1. While the projecting portion 22 is inserted in the attaching hole 12, the garnish holder 4 and the projecting portion 22 are fastened by a fastening member, thereby holding the front bumper 1 between the garnish 2 and the garnish holder 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】ガーニッシュの端部が意匠部材の外側表面から浮くことなく、外観品質を保つことが可能であり、かつ、ガーニッシュと意匠部材との間の隙間が小さい場合にも適用することにある。【解決手段】ガーニッシュ２の周縁部２１ａがフロントバンパ１の外側表面に当接された状態で、ガーニッシュ２がフロントバンパ１に取付けられる取付構造において、ガーニッシュ２の端部２１の裏面側には、フロントバンパ１へ向かって突出する凸部２２が設けられ、フロントバンパ１には、ガーニッシュ２の取付状態で凸部２２を挿通する取付穴１２が設けられ、フロントバンパ１の端部１１の裏面側には、ガーニッシュホルダ４が設けられ、ガーニッシュホルダ４は、フロントバンパ１の裏面と当接する当接部４１を有しており、取付穴１２に凸部２２が挿通された状態で、ガーニッシュホルダ４及び凸部２２が締付部材で締め付けられることによって、フロントバンパ１が、ガーニッシュ２とガーニッシュホルダ４とに挟持されている。【選択図】図７
