Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light alloy wheel in which casting defect such as a shrinkage cavity generated at an intersection part is further reduced.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a light alloy wheel having a rim part and a disk part which is provided within the rim part and onto which an axle is mounted comprises: a pouring process in which a molten metal 30 comprising a light alloy is charged into a cavity of a metal mold; and a compression process in which a part of the charged molten metal is compressed by a gas. In the compression process, the molten metal 30 is compressed by a gas 40 introduced through a vent hole 142 which communicates a cavity 26a for an intersection part which models an intersection part 26 formed by intersection of the rim part and the disk part out of the cavity and the exterior of the metal mold with each other, the molten metal is separated from an inner face of the cavity 26a for the intersection part thereby forming a clearance 100c between the inner face of the cavity 26a for the intersection part and the molten metal, and thereafter, compression is released, the molten metal around the clearance 100c is effused and charged into the clearance 100c through a molten metal coagulation layer 30a formed around the molten metal, and coagulation is completed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】交差部に発生する引け巣などの鋳造欠陥をより低減した軽合金ホイールの製造方法の提供。【解決手段】リム部と、リム部に内設され、車軸が装着されるディスク部とを有する軽合金ホイールの製造方法であって、金型のキャビティ内に軽合金からなる溶湯30を充填する注湯工程と、充填した溶湯の一部をガスで加圧する加圧工程とを有し、加圧工程は、キャビティのうちリム部とディスク部とが交差してなる交差部26を象る交差部用キャビティ26aと金型外部とを連通する通気孔142を通じて導入したガス40で溶湯30を加圧し、交差部用キャビティ26aの内面から溶湯を離間させて交差部用キャビティ26aの内面と溶湯との間に隙間100cを形成し、その後、加圧を解除し、溶湯の周囲に形成された溶湯凝固層30aを通じ、隙間100cの周囲の溶湯を隙間100c内に浸み出させて充填し、凝固を完了させる工程である軽合金ホイールの製造方法。【選択図】図3
