METHOD FOR SCREENING SUBSTANCE PREVENTING SKIN AGING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for screening genes that are characteristically changed in skin aging and a method for screening a substance that regulates the expression of these genes to prevent aging.SOLUTION: The method provides a method for screening a substance that prevents skin aging. The method comprises the steps of: (1) treating a candidate substance that regulates the expression of an intracellular gene in collected test skin; (2) inducing the expression of an intracellular gene so that the test skin cells are placed in a skin-aging causative environment; and (3) measuring the degree of expression of the intracellular gene of the test skin cells placed in the skin-aging causative environment in the step (2).
