Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for a lithium ion battery, capable of preventing the housing from bursting, during when the lithium ion battery is subjected to heating treatment.SOLUTION: In a method for heating and processing a lithium ion battery wrapped by a housing containing aluminum, by placing the lithium ion battery in a battery heating space, and sending hot gas thereto, temperature of the hot gas being sent to the battery heating space is set less than 450°C, the battery gas is made to flow out of the housing of the lithium ion battery, when the temperature of the lithium ion battery heated by the hot gas is 200°C to 400°C, and outflow of the battery gas is ended.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】リチウムイオン電池の加熱処理に際し、その筐体の破裂を有効に防止することができるリチウムイオン電池の処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】この発明のリチウムイオン電池の処理方法は、アルミニウムを含む筐体で包み込まれたリチウムイオン電池を、電池加熱空間に配置し、前記電池加熱空間に熱ガスを送り込むことにより、前記リチウムイオン電池を加熱して処理する方法であって、前記電池加熱空間に送り込む熱ガスの温度を４５０℃未満とし、熱ガスにより加熱されるリチウムイオン電池の温度が２００℃〜４００℃の範囲内にある間に、リチウムイオン電池の筐体内から電池ガスを流出させるとともに、当該電池ガスの流出を終了させる。【選択図】なし
