DISPLAY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of allowing a driver to recognize the travel state of another vehicle by identifying the travel state of the other vehicle existing in the circumference of a self vehicle.SOLUTION: A display system is mounted on a vehicle. The display system includes a detection section, an acquisition section, and a display section. The detection section detects another vehicle being the other vehicle existing in the circumference of a vehicle. The acquisition section acquires other vehicle information being the information indicating the travel state of the other vehicle when the detection section detects the other vehicle. The display section generates an other vehicle image being the image expressing the travel state of the other vehicle on the basis of the other vehicle information acquired by the acquisition section, and displays the generated other vehicle image by superimposition on a scene viewed from a driving seat of a vehicle through a windshield in association with the other vehicle. The display section may allow a display device to display the other vehicle image by superimposition on a captured image captured by an on-vehicle camera.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】自車両の周囲に存在する他車両の走行状態を識別して運転者に認識させる技術を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の表示システムは、車両に搭載される。表示システムは、検出部と、取得部と、表示部と、を備える。検出部は、車両の周囲に存在する他の車両である他車両を検出する。取得部は、検出部によって他車両が検出された場合に、他車両の走行状態示す情報である他車情報を取得する。表示部は、取得部によって取得された他車情報に基づき他車両の走行状態を表す画像である他車画像を生成し、生成した他車画像を、他車両と対応付けながら、車両の運転席からフロントガラス越しに見える景色に重畳するよう表示する。なお、表示部が、他車画像を、車載カメラによって撮像される撮像画像に重畳するよう表示装置に表示するようにしてもよい。【選択図】図５
