PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device which improves operability and is capable of remotely controlling opening/closing of a shield in an electrically-driven shielding device, a control method therefor, a program and the electrically-driven shielding device.SOLUTION: A portable terminal device 1 comprises: a touch panel type display part 12 capable of detecting a touch operation; and a control part 11 including functions for performing simulation display about an opening/closing state of a shield in an electrically-driven shielding device 8 subjected to remote control on a display screen of the touch panel type display part 12, detecting an operation request to control the opening/closing state of the shield in accordance with one of a flick operation, predetermined times of tap operations and a long tap operation or a combination thereof as a touch operation onto the display screen, generating and transmitting a control command in response to the operation request to the electrically-driven shielding device 8 subjected to remote control, and performing the remote control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】操作性の優れ、電動遮蔽装置における遮蔽材の開閉を遠隔制御可能とする携帯端末装置、その制御方法及びプログラム、並びに電動遮蔽装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の携帯端末装置１は、タッチ操作を検出可能なタッチパネル式表示部１２と、タッチパネル式表示部１２の表示画面上に遠隔制御対象の電動遮蔽装置８における遮蔽材の開閉状態の模擬表示を行い、当該表示画面に対するタッチ操作として、フリック操作、所定回数のタップ操作及びロングタップ操作のうちの１つ又はこれらの組み合わせによる当該遮蔽材の開閉状態を制御する操作要求を検出し、該操作要求に応じた制御コマンドを生成して当該遠隔制御対象の電動遮蔽装置８に向けて送信し遠隔制御する機能を有する制御部１１と、を備える。【選択図】図６
