PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector adaptable to higher speed transmission, and a connection device using the same.SOLUTION: A connector 100 includes a plurality of contacts 10A and a housing 11. Each of the plurality of contacts 10A has a first connection piece 1A, a second connection piece 2A and a connection piece 3A, and is configured so that a connection target object 200 is inserted between the first connection piece 1A and the second connection piece 2A. The first connection piece 1A is formed so as to be in contact with an electrically conductive portion 22 formed on a surface of the connection target object 200 which faces the first connection piece 1A.
