Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to suppress image unevenness by suppressing an electrification charge application area where a charging device applies electrification charge and an electricity elimination light irradiation area irradiated with light from an electricity elimination lamp from overlapping with each other on a surface of a photoreceptor.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises a photoreceptor drum 10, a charging device 11, a main electricity elimination lamp 18, and a light blocking member 20. The charging device 11 charges a surface of the photoreceptor drum 10 at a predetermined potential. The main electricity elimination lamp 18 is arranged adjacent to the charging device 11 and irradiates the surface of the photoreceptor drum 10 with light to attenuate electrification charge. The light blocking member 20 is arranged between the charging device 11 and the main electricity elimination lamp 18 to provide a gap between the charging device 11 and a first end closer to the surface of the photoreceptor drum 10 in the radial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】感光体の表面で、帯電装置が帯電電荷を付与する帯電電荷付与領域と除電ランプが光を照射する除電光照射領域とが重なることを抑制することで、画像ムラを抑制できるようにする。【解決手段】画像形成装置1は、感光体ドラム10、帯電装置11、メイン除電ランプ18、及び遮光部材20を備える。帯電装置11は、感光体ドラム10の表面を所定電位に帯電させる。メイン除電ランプ18は、帯電装置11に隣接して配置され、感光体ドラム10の表面に光を照射して帯電電荷を減衰させる。遮光部材20は、感光体ドラム10の半径方向における表面に近い方の第1端部と帯電装置11との間に間隙が設けられるように帯電装置11とメイン除電ランプ18との間に配置される。【選択図】図1
