PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination device capable of reducing a burden associated with determining whether or not a cooling medium is suitable for reproduction.SOLUTION: A determination device comprises a cooling medium circuit 3, an operation determination section and a cooling medium determination section. The cooling medium circuit 3 is configured to circularly connect: compressor 11; condensers 13, 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D and 21E; expanding mechanisms 14A, 14B, 14C, 14D and 14E; and evaporators 13, 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D and 21E. The operation determination section, during cooling cycle operation according to a heat quantity required by the condensers 13, 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D and 21E or the evaporators 13, 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D and 21E, determines whether or not the cooling cycle operation can be performed normally.
