The DPF captures particulate matter (PM) in exhaust gas to purify exhaust gas. The ECU acquires a λ limit injection amount as an upper limit value of a fuel injection amount on the basis of a lower limit value (λlower limit value) of excess air ratio λ. The ECU corrects a λlower limit value on the basis of an accumulation amount of PM having captured by the DPF, and acquires the λlimit injection amount by using the corrected λlower limit value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】気筒内の混合気が含む酸素の量(エアマス)を高い精度で計算できる場合とそうでない場合の両方において燃料噴射量を適切に制限することができるエンジンを提供する。【解決手段】エンジンは、DPFと、ECUと、を備える。このDPFは、排気ガス内の粒子状物質(PM)を捕捉することにより排気ガスを浄化する。ECUは、燃料噴射量の上限値であるλ制限噴射量を、空気過剰率λの下限値(λ下限値)に基づいて求める。ECUは、DPFに捕集されたPMの堆積量に基づいてλ下限値を補正し、補正後のλ下限値を用いてλ制限噴射量を求める。【選択図】図5 |
