METHOD OF MAKING SOLID CONTAINING ORGANIC HALIDE COMPOUND HARMLESS AND DETOXIFYING AGENT OF ORGANIC HALIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of making a solid containing an organic halide harmless, which can speedily make the solid containing the organic halide harmless without re-synthesizing dioxins and without generating an excess waste, and a detoxifying agent of organic halide.SOLUTION: In a method of making a solid containing an organic halide harmless by bringing the solid containing the organic halide and an agent into contact to reduce and detoxify the organic halide by the agent without relying on mechanochemical treatment, the agent contains an iron powder, an agglomeration inhibitor that inhibits agglomeration of the iron powder, and a substance that releases water at a temperature of from 100°C or higher to 300°C or lower. The solid and the agent is brought into contact at a temperature of from 100°C or higher to 300°C or lower to reduce and detoxify the organic halide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ダイオキシン類を再合成させることなく、また余分な廃棄物を発生させることなく、有機ハロゲン化合物を含有する固体を迅速に無害化することができる有機ハロゲン化合物を含有する固体の無害化方法及び有機ハロゲン化合物無害化剤を提供する。【解決手段】有機ハロゲン化合物を含有する固体と薬剤とを接触させ、前記薬剤により前記有機ハロゲン化合物を還元し無害化する、メカノケミカル処理によらない有機ハロゲン化合物を含有する固体の無害化方法であって、前記薬剤が、鉄粉と、鉄粉の凝集を防ぐ凝集防止剤と、１００℃以上３００℃以下の温度で水を放出する物質とを含み、前記固体と前記薬剤とを１００℃以上３００℃以下の温度で接触させ、前記有機ハロゲン化合物を還元し無害化する。【選択図】図１
