The control unit controls a plurality of refrigerant circuits 11, 21 to switch between a first operation in which a utilization heat exchanger 18 of one refrigerant circuit 11 of the refrigerant circuits 11, 21 is used as an evaporator and a utilization heat exchanger 28 of the other refrigerant circuit 21 is used as a condenser, a second operation in which the utilization heat exchangers 18, 28 all refrigeration circuits 11, 21 out of the refrigerant circuits 11, 21 are used as an evaporator, and a third operation in which heat source heat exchangers 13, 23 all refrigeration circuits 11, 21 out of the refrigerant circuits 11, 21 are used as a condenser.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】広範囲の空調負荷を処理でき、且つ高い精度で空気の温度を調節することができる空気調和機を提供する。【解決手段】空気調和機(A)には、複数の冷媒回路(11,21)のうちの一部の冷媒回路(11)の利用熱交換器(18)が蒸発器となり且つ他の冷媒回路(21)の利用熱交換器(28)が凝縮器となる第1運転と、複数の冷媒回路(11,21)のうちの全ての冷媒回路(11,21)の利用熱交換器(18,28)が蒸発器となる第2運転と、複数の冷媒回路(11,21)のうちの全ての冷媒回路(11,21)の熱源熱交換器(13,23)が凝縮器となる第3運転とを切り換えるように複数の冷媒回路(11,21)を制御する制御部(50)が設けられる。【選択図】図2
