ELASTIC PACKING USED WITH JOINT PART OF TUNNEL SEGMENTS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic packing that: maintains a sealing effect and water cut-off performance even when an opening amount between segments changed, if the change is within a prescribed range; prevents an increase in reactive force even when a compression amount of the packing increases during assembly; is easy to assemble; and prevents a damage at an edge part of a segment joint part.SOLUTION: An elastic packing is fitted to a joint part of tunnel segments for preventing water leakage from the joint part, and includes packing bodies 40, 50 fixed to the joint part of the tunnel segments. The packing body is made of an elastic material that deforms by being compressed when the tunnel segments are connected, and has a transverse cross-section structure with a plurality of holes being formed such that deflection and reactive force deriving from the compression reach an equilibrium within a certain range, and buckling results when a limit of the reactive force is exceeded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】セグメント間の目開き量が変化しても、所定の範囲内であればシール効果を保って止水性能を確保でき、組み立て時にパッキングの圧縮量が大きくなっても反力は大きくならず、組み立て易く、かつ、セグメント継手部の端部における破損を防止することができる弾性パッキングを提供する。【解決手段】トンネルセグメント類の継手部に装着し、継手部における漏水を防止するための弾性パッキングであって、トンネルセグメント類の継手部に固定されるパッキング本体４０、５０を有し、パッキング本体はトンネルセグメント類を接続する際に加圧されることで変形する弾性材料より成り、かつ、加圧によって生じる撓みと反力が一定範囲で平衡し、反力の限界を超えたときに座屈するように形成された、複数個の孔から成る横断面構造を有するトンネルセグメント類の継手部に用いる弾性パッキング。【選択図】図２
